description: La sculpture représente zeus, le roi des dieux grecs, accompagné de trois de ses attributs. De sa main droite, il tient le foudre, symbole de la puissance. Il s'agit d'une arme fabriquée par les Cyclopes Argès, Brontès et Stéropès qui y intégrèrent respectivement la foudre, le tonnerre et l'éclair. De sa main gauche, zeus tient un sceptre qui, associé à l'aigle qui s'agrippe à son bras, est le symbole de l'inviolabilité, c'est-à-dire de l'immunité diplomatique.
